The Art of Remembering

The Art of Remembering

In the world we live in today, we often get distracted from of the main purpose of life—not to move forward but to return home.

I became aware of this purpose in my visions during my Yagè ceremonies. The spirit tasked me with one of the most challenging responsibilities in life—to remember and to help others remember.

It all started with a book title “The Beat of Life”. The Beat of Life speaks to the journey of return to the very first beat that created life as we know it the one beat that we all come from regardless of gender or race.

As I continue to write the book, the spirit shares practical tools and steps that not only help guide us on our journey but to protect us through sacred alignment. That’s when Visión De León came to life.

The Symbol Behind Visión De León

The Symbol Behind Visión De León
At Visión De León, our logo is more than a design. It is a reflection of the philosophy behind the brand—one rooted in awareness, intentionality, and self-remembrance. Every element carries meaning. The Lion’s Eye — Inner Vision The eye of the lion represents the ability to see beyond surface perception and reconnect with inner truth. It symbolizes courage, intuition, presence, and self-leadership. Its gaze is not directed outward, but inward—inviting us to move beyond performance, conditioning, and illusion in order to see ourselves clearly. Because true leadership begins within. The Triangle — Alignment & Elevation The upward-pointing triangle is an ancient symbol associated with fire, focus, and transformation. It represents the alignment of mind, body, and spirit—the integration required for meaningful growth. When paired with the lion’s eye, the symbol becomes a reminder that style is more than appearance. It is expression in alignment with the soul.

Where Visión De León Began
Fashion has long served as a form of expression—through color, silhouette, and signature—marking timelines, movements, and personal evolution.  But Visión De León was not born from trends. It was born from lived experience. From healing. From the intersection of soul and style. This is the story of two individuals who, through their own journeys of transformation, helped spark the vision that became Visión De León. Mehrang Toossi was born on January 31, 1980, in Tehran, Iran, during the early years of the Iran-Iraq War. Shaped by both displacement and adversity, he found refuge in poetry, philosophy, and introspection—discovering in them a language for both survival and self-expression. As a teenager, he moved to the United States alongside his mother and later studied Applied Mathematics at California State University, Northridge. Though drawn to logic and structure, he ultimately chose a different path—one rooted in leadership, human connection, and personal development. That journey led him to Equinox, where he spent years leading luxury fitness clubs across multiple regions in the United States, mentoring teams and helping others pursue growth beyond physical transformation. Yet beneath outward achievement, a deeper search continued. In 2022, Mehrang began a healing journey through the indigenous traditions of South America. Within those experiences, he reconnected with parts of himself that had long remained dormant—deepening his understanding of purpose, creativity, and inner alignment. During one of these gatherings, he witnessed a vision shared by his spiritual brother, Danet De León: the creation of a fashion brand rooted in symbolism, intentionality, and deeper meaning. What began as conversation gradually revealed itself as a calling. Though their paths eventually evolved in different directions, the spirit of that early vision remains woven into the foundation of Visión De León. From that spark, Visión De León was born.

Guide to hat sizes for Visión De León
Find Your Crown Size Every crown is crafted to fit with precision — because a crown that fits perfectly is one you forget you are wearing. Take two minutes to measure, and your piece will feel as though it was always yours. How to measure your head Step 1. Take a soft measuring tape or a piece of string. Step 2. Wrap it around your head, about one centimetre above your ears and across the middle of your forehead — where a hat would naturally sit. Step 3. Keep it snug but not tight. Note the measurement where the tape meets. Step 4. If using string, lay it flat against a ruler to read the length. Between two sizes? We recommend sizing up — a crown should rest with ease, not pressure. Because every piece at Visión De León is made to order, we can accommodate any size. If your measurement falls outside this chart, reach out before placing your order and we will ensure your crown fits exactly as it should. Not sure? Ask us directly.
When the Crown Was Sacred

When the Crown Was Sacred
Before crowns became fashion, they were symbols of remembrance. Across ancient traditions, adornment was never simply decorative — it reflected identity, status, spirituality, and one’s relationship with the unseen. In many Mesoamerican cultures, feathers, gold, symbols, and ceremonial headpieces were worn not only to be seen, but to embody meaning. The crown was an extension of spirit. Modern fashion often asks, “How do I look?”Ancient traditions asked, “Who am I becoming?” At Visión De León, we honor that forgotten relationship with adornment. Each crown is created as a symbolic and intentional piece — shaped through astrology, intuition, craftsmanship, and personal story. Not simply worn.Remembered.
